ครอบครัวเป็นแหล่งกำเนิดแรกของมนุษย์ และยังเป็นแหล่งกำเนิดของอารยธรรมต่างๆด้วย ดังนั้น เราต้องศึกษาถึงคำสอนของหลักศาสนบัญญัติที่เกี่ยวกับครอบครัว ครอบครัวประกอบด้วยสามี ภรรยาและลูก คำสั่งของอิสลามเกี่ยวกับครอบครัวนั้นชัดเจน กล่าวคือ อิสลามกำหนดให้ผู้ชายเป็นผู้รับผิดชอบในการทำงานและจัดหาสิ่งจำเป็นต่อการ ดำรงชีวิตให้แก่ภรรยาและลูก และต้องคุ้มครองคนในครอบครัวให้พ้นจากความชั่วช้าเลวทรามต่างๆ ส่วนผู้หญิงได้กำหนดหน้าที่สำหรับการดูแลบ้าน อบรมและเลี้ยงดูลูก จัดหาความสะดวกสบายและความพึงพอใจให้แก่สามีและลู

การดำเนินชีวิตของคนเราทุกวันนี้ เป็นวิถีที่ถูกรุมเร้าจากประเด็นปัญหานานาประการ ท่ามกลางความเจริญก้าวหน้าทางด้านวัตถุ เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ซึ่งรุดหน้าอย่างสุดโต่ง ส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อผู้คนในสังคม ภาพแห่งความสุขในรูปแบบต่างๆ ถูกนำมาเสนอเพียงฉาบฉวย สีสันภายนอกดูสวยงามชวนให้ลุ่มหลง แต่...ล้วงลึกลงไปกลับเป็นเพียงภาพลวงตา ปัญหาต่างๆ นานา ที่มาโหมกระหน่ำรุมเร้าถูกหมักหมมไม่ได้รับการเยียวยารักษาอย่างเป็นระบบ ตรงประเด็นและต่อเนื่อง
