เป็น ที่ประจักษ์แล้วว่า มีแต่ครรลองชีวิตอิสลามเท่านั้นที่สามารถ เยียวยาชาวตะวันตกให้ฟื้นจากสารพัดความทุกข์ที่รุมเร้าพวกเขา ทั้งในด้านจิตใจ ศีลธรรมและจริยธรรม จิตวิทยาและสังคม อิสลามเท่านั้นที่สามารถปกป้องอารยธรรมตะวันตกมิให้จมดิ่งลงไปในมหาสมุทร แห่งความมืดบอดและวัตถุนิยม
แต่ อนิจจาน่าเสียดาย ณ ดินแดนเหล่านั้นกลับเต็มไปด้วยอุปสรรคที่คอยกีดขวางชาวตะวันตกมิให้พบกับทาง นำแห่งอิสลาม ส่วนหนึ่งที่พอจะกล่าวโดยสังเขป มีดังต่อไปนี้

ผู้ที่มีทุกข์อย่างแท้จริง คือ ผู้ที่ยากจนขัดสนอีหม่าน และมีวิกฤติในเรื่องความเชื่อมั่นศรัทธา คนเหล่านี้มักจะมีสภาพหม่นหมอง มีทุกข์ระทม ท้อและเศร้าโศก มีอารมณ์โกรธและรู้สึกต้อยต่ำ ด้อยค่า ไร้เกียรติและศักดิ์ศรี

อัลลอฮฺตรัสว่า
